Default Nitrous Kit For MSD Atomic Airforce Intake

I'm curious if Nitrous Outlet or Nitrous Express are developing a plate kit for this new intake that's supposedly going to be available for the cathedral port heads in mid to late March. I was just wondering if Nitrous Outlet or Nitrous Express has got their hands on one of these intakes, and if so, have you test fitted it to see if there is any room under a 4th Gen for a direct port setup. According to the little testing/information available regarding this intake, it seems to be a pretty big step up from the FAST in terms of power, and the pricing seems to be the same as the FAST intakes, so logic says these things should sell. Maybe Nitrous Outlet and Nitrous Express could come in here and let the masses know what their plans are for nitrous setups for this intake.

I would happily be the guinea pig for either Nitrous Outlet of Nitrous Express if they need one for a direct port setup. I'll buy the intake and send it to them for the mock up if they would do the direct port setup at not cost to me.

As someone else on this site mentioned, curious how tall this intake is in a 4th gen in contrast to a FAST 102, and if it is taller, will there be room for a direct port setup without having to do any cutting.

Curious if Nitrous Outlet or Nitrous Express have got their hands on one of these yet?

No, they haven't been released quite yet. We are on top of it though.

Good to know. Supposedly, these intakes are shipping this month, but who knows for sure. I'm just curious how well they are going to fit, and if there is going to be any trimming needed to make them fit. Then that leads me to my next question; will there be enough room under a 4th gen. hood/cowl for a dual rail direct port setup? Guess only time will tell.

That's what I have been told as well. I'll let you know something as soon as I do! As far as a rail setup, I'm fairly certain we won't have any issues.

Thanks,
Garrett

Good deal Garrett. Keep us updated. I know once this intake hits the market, there will be a need for nitrous setups for it. I think it measures in at 103mm, so a nice plate setup would be cool too.

We're just playing the waiting game as well. I'll update as soon as I can.

Seems like it's been a long waiting game for this intake. Seems like the shipment date for this thing has been prolonged at least 3 different times.

Hell, I would just be happy if the MSD intake is a worthwhile upgrade over an OEM LS3 intake

It looks like a nice intake... And from the pics there will be two different version right off the bat.

Appears that the Aftermarket rail version has a larger plenum volume...

I just hope it performs....I don't believe a word of their "independent"
testing

I hear ya there....

All the independent testing is sketchy in my books unless they give me one to test for them....lol

That's interesting. I wasn't aware the intake came with the option of running the stock fuel rails. I though you had to at least upgrade to the LS2 rails. Kind of smart on their part though making one that allows for stock rails since the FAST 102mm doesn't offer one.
