Default Custom Blowdown tubes

Anyone make there own custom blowdown tubes, especially with a flexible line? Thinking of doing something like Nitrous Outlet offers with braided hose (I have a ton of that) with AN ends and some sort of bulkhead to mount to the floor for the exit end of the hose. Obviously all the line would be secure incase it was ever used.

Thoughts?

The racer safety valve is a 8an fitting. Then get a 8an bulkhead fitting for the floor. Then just make up an appropriate 8an hose to connect the two.

Here is a few pics of mine , I made them out of AN-8 braided & AN-8 hoses ends on twin 15# bottles. That fit the burst valve perfect . I ran the hoses out the vents in the driver side rear compartment. If you pull up the plastic guard you will see the air vent. I guess its for closing the rear hatch to help with releasing pressure.

Most if not all NHRA Blow off fittings have 8an threads. I'd go with 8an hose/ fittings to an 8an bulk head on the floor.

What you'll need

1. NHRA Fitting
2. 8an 90*, 45*, straight or 180* fitting to connect to NHRA fitting [ Depending on how you want to run the hose ]
3. 8an hose however long you need it
4. 8an 90*, 45*, or straight fitting to connect to bulkhead [ Depending on how you want to run the hose ]
5. 8an bulk head fitting w/ nut [ Straight or 90* depending on bulkhead location ]
