Ah, my old stomping grounds. Lived in Hattiesburg for 4 years. If you saw a SY 04 Yellow Cobra from 08-11 with a bunch of USM girls hanging out the passenger window around town, that was me. Pretty good racing scene there. I visit every Feb.

OP please correct me if I'm wrong...a TH350 can be built just as strong, weigh less, and rob less power than a TH400.
I used to run a Rossler 350 RMVB and could not tear it up @ hundreds of 5,500rpm Transbrake launches

How many rpm are you turning it to, and how long has it lasted? Looking to spray my ls1 that I turn to 7200... I'm nervous about turning it that high on 150 SBE.

Yes we have an NOS Mini on it. The trans only has good clutches, sprag , rmvb , shift kit. Stock rods and pistons will hold much more than that for sure.

We shift @7200-7300. It has 20 passes or so on the fogger between track and street. Mostly 1/8 mile. We put over 200 nitrous passes on another sbe ls1 in another car we had. It is number 3 on the list.

Very nice op. Being from ms as well I can respect this becuase the sir here is like no other. Extreme humidity. Congrats on the new record and in November it should be a new one set for sure with the better air.

Side note, I thought the Perkin bros reset the record. That's what I heard from other folks. Or maybe they tuned it I can't remember exactly now.

It is us. Jacob and I tune the car and speced the combo. Car is down now for a cage, harness, and a few other upgrades. We are having the heads gone through by BTR and going to test a new camshaft when it comes back out. The air was terrible and we had to hot lap the car because track was closing to get the record. It went 8.98 and 8.94 within 10 min and it was on a pretty soft progressive setting because track was hot and greasy.

When u say stock bottom end do u mean stock ci with aftermarket parts or stock shortvlock from factory... Curious how much power and how fast a oem bottom end can handle

But regardless thats one hell of a pass for a 346 ls1.. Awsome build man. U ever think bout puttin a procharger f1a on that badboy??
