How big of a shot to take down an E85 Cammed Zl1
I plan on racing a guy that has the mods in the title. I have a 5th gen Camaro with h/c/i direct port with a progressive controller, dedicated fuel cell, and a forged bottom end (stock c.i). I was planning on doing a 200 shot but might just go for a 300 if needed. Any advice for this big of a shot? If it's way overkill or unsafe I'll keep it around 200

I raced a guy this past weekend that had a cammed ZL1 running c12 fuel. Not sure on cam specs but it sounded healthy and he had a smaller pulley on the blower. He was running high 6's low 7's at around 103 mph in the 1/8. I beat him 3 times with the combo in my sig in a 3,900+ lb truck on a 100 shot

Good luck hooking that hit on a 20" 555r especially if it is on the street.
With that said, I have sprayed 2 systems through my plate on my 418 with e85.
1st stage a single 76n jet
2nd stage dual 52n jets
That's more than your planned 300 hit.
But you better make sure your tune up is on!!! If .82 lambda, the typical 2* for every 50hp is an ok start, but I and a few friends have found more power at .77 lambda and less timing pulled.

I would guess if it's just cam and header car no pully swap the 200 should be close 300 should get him but you are both going to struggle with traction so get your tune up right and make sure your progressive ramps don't blow the tires off.
