Help LNC-2000 hook up on an 04 CTS V
Hey guys, I'm installing an lnc-2000 on an 04 V. I have questions on hooking up the 2 step. Is it best to tie it in to the CPP? If so what wires do I tap in to of the 4 wires in the connector? Thanks

CTS-v clutch switch
You should be able to follow the Camaro/Firebird wiring in the LNC-2000 instructions (found here) except use the correct corresponding wires in the CTS-V four pin clutch switch connector.
In a 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird the lower clutch switch is powered by a circuit that is only energized while the vehicle is cranking. For the LNC to work with the lower clutch switch, a relay must be added before the switch in order for the switch to be powered while the vehicle is running.
Not sure if this is the case in the CTS-V.
According to the factory wiring diagram the brown/white connection to the pink wire is open when the clutch pedal is depressed (closes when it is released)
CTS-V switch wiring:
PIN Wire color Circuit # Function
A PK 839 Ignition 1 Voltage
B BN/WH 379 CPP Switch Signal
C PU/WH 1035 Starter Relay Coil Supply Voltage
D PK 839 Ignition 1 Voltage
You could also add a microswitch somewhere on the pedal if you prefer.
Hope this helps.

- The purple wire in the Camaro/Firebird is the Starter Relay Coil Supply Voltage.
- In the CTS-V this is the purple and white wire (PIN C/circuit 1035) in the 4 pin connector.
- The green wire in the Camaro/Firebird is the Clutch Start Switch Signal.
- In the CTS-V this is the brown/white wire (PIN B/circuit 379).
