Default Can you purge on your tranny cooler?

Lately I've seen my tranny temps rise greatly while driving around town and I thought if I had N2O it'd be cool if I could just purge on the tranny cooler to cool things down a bit. So does anyone do this? I know turbo guys can purge on their intercooler so I don't see why this wouldn't work.

It'll usually hover between 180-200 in the city. Anything above 210 and I shut off the car. Temp sensor is screwed into the line pressure bung.
