do i need a regulator to run the Walbro 340lph pump

Default do i need a regulator to run the Walbro 340lph pump

im making 440rwhp with HC and im installing this pump in a few days with a NX MAF kit and was told ill need a regulator for a pump this big, anybody have any experience with this pump?

Well.. if you do need a regulator. Then I'm in trouble. I installed one over the weekend, but I didn't add a regulator..

No your stock regulater will do the job just fine.

I think Racetronix is making a front mounted adjustable FP Regulator for LS1 engines, supposed to make better use of the 340 pump than the stock setup.from reading the post on it, it seems that a single intank 340 with the adjustable FP mounted up front will support quite a bit more power than the 340 intank with stock regulator...

P.S., I have the 340 with stock regulator and it is fine

Oh yea... that's good to know..

I didn't think you guys would sell me a 340 and not mention getting a new regulator..
