Default Dry shot doing crazy stuff, big hit thru single nozzle

Last year had air fuel under control on motor and nitrous. Around 40 lb min peak on motor (stock maf table) and 55 lb min on 150 jetting.

Changed heads, LSX intake, and 1 7/8 headers. now on motor sees 46 lb min, and only 50 lb min on 150 jet. I can see it picking up a bit on the motor because its moving more air, but only a 15 lb ft difference shouldnt change much and the nitrous maf numbers have me consfused. It is way lean now on the pill unless I jack up the PE table. I just dont see a reason for the MAF to fuel it so much differently.

I think we may have found the limit of the nitrous line as well only picked up 15 hp from the 150 to the 210 jets. Big solenoid thru 3 am line and 5177 kit nozzle.

Guess no one. We are making it work (see ATVRacers pump gas, drag radial, 150 dry hit post )

But still trying to work a few more things out of the setup

What about a fuel pump/booster pump. We talked about raising press in one of v6bird's recent threads. The math is there. At the lower press you making your injectors smaller and thus leaner. I would get the press back up to were it should be. My Z06 never sees less than 56/7/8 and stays at 61psi normaly and not running lean, but if I drop pressure it would lean out. Looking foward to working with you on my HPT and dry dual stage.

His car has a walbro intank hotwired, consistant 63 psi I believe drops only a couple psi and holds steady. Not a fueling issue as far as not being abel to keep up, MAF just not reporting the same way

The 5177 can flow upto about 140/150hp per side, per nozzle with no jet.

I had that same issue...I think you need to go into the upper frequencies of the MAF and add some % to it to add more fuel...Thats what I ran into on my car but never fixed it like that. I went to the Spiker setup I have now and now need to get the MAF to quit adding fuel on top of what the spiker is adding for FP at the regulator.

I know we did this on 01 Ws6 Ta's car and it added fuel for him. Might look into that and see what some others say. I just know it worked for him in the higher load ranges of the maf table.
