Default Exhaust popping when letting off

After spraying, my exhaust pops or backfires. This is with an open cutout and it only happens when I decelerate. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

After spraying a wet hit that's normal, but not good. Try letting off more progressively.

I usually give the throttle acoupel of good snaps to help clean out the motor on decel. You can also try shutting off the master arm before you let off, or just roll out of the throttle instead of snaping it shut. It seems to me to be from unburnt fuel in the exhaust.
