Default questions on a nos kit

I been doing research on nos kits and think i decided which one i want,
its going to be the nos 5177 dry kit. I have a 00 formula a4 with bolt-ons . i plan on geting the window switch but don't know which one yet. also a WOT switch if the kit does not come with one.
Should i have any gauges for the kit?
also what should my timming and a/f be at when it is engaged?

I did a search but didn't find a direct anserw.
Thanks
Eric

You should also get a fuel pressure safety switch. As far as gauges, a fuel pressure & nitrous pressure are nice, but not really necessary. Might want to upgrade your fuel pump, but I think you'd be ok on the stock one. I'd get the digital MSD or the BMN window switch. Not really sure on the a/f yet as I still have to get tuned, I'd say around 11.5:1 though, or richer than N/A anyway.

Eric,
The kit should come with a wot switch.Have you checked out or Dry kits? We are using quality NX parts and the system is cheaper thean the NOS kit.

First I must say that Dave's dry kits are nice. The 5177 comes with a wot, fpss, gauge and blow down tube. If you do get the 5177, Dave also carries that kit. Buy from site vendors when possible, as this supports our site.
