Default FPSS install question

When I screwed it on as tight as I could then turned the car on gas was leaking out of the male adapter. Should I use teflon paste to fix this? will it hold under that much heat and bumps as the car is a DD?

Where the adapter connects to the fuel rail should be a compression fitting (JIC) which does not require sealer. Where the FPSS screws into the adapter is 1/8 NPT which requires thread sealer. This is how my FPSS was fitted. I used liquid teflon & mine hasn't leaked.

Thanks, I think I will try out the teflon paste. I did not have it with me when installing the first time. If that does not work I will go get some thread lock. Thank you
