Default 860 Bottle Heater Wiring?

I have one question about the black wire that comes off the relay it says to attach the black wire to 20A fused 12V+ supply. Which should be taken directly from the battery with a in-line fuse. So do I run the black wire to the positive side of the battery and have a in-line fuse installed?

Yes, that is correct. The black wire from the relay harness needs 12v+ supply from the battery. You can use the supplied red wire to extend it up to the battery, and a 20A fuse is always a good idea.

Goodluck with the rest of your install!

You should go directly to the battery with bottle heaters since they draw so much current. If you splice into another circut, you run the risk of overloading that circut.
