Default Turn the bottle on and kill the motor instantly

Had the n20 kit installed over the weekend. Fill the bottle. Get home. Crack the bottle open in my driveway with the car on and the motor dies instantly. it will do this if the arming switch is on or not. I believe the n20 solenoid to be stuck open, sound correct?

Sure sounds like the noid is stuck open.

Pull the line off that connects it to the nozzle, and have a buddy open the bottle while you look at the noid. You will know right away.

What kind of kit?

If the n20 noid is stuck open it would get ugly I'd think.

Good deal, thought it was a stuck noid. Damn ls1's =) It's a TNT f2 kit, but it's running NOS Solenoids.

Any sponsor have any good deals on solenoids?

Make sure the solenoid isn't hooked up backwards. If you have the nitrous coming in on the outlet side it can cause it to try and open when pressure from the bottle is applied. Because of the way solenoids are designed they don't normaly fail in the open position unles there is a foreign object in it that isn't allowing the plunger to seat.

Sounds like you got some trash in the solenoid. You can pick up a solenoid wrnech from us and I can tell you how to tear it apart to chaeck. Or you can send me the solenoids and Ill check it out for you. If it turns out the solenoid needs to be replaced I can also help you there. We stock most of the product we sell.

Let me know if I can help.
I can walk you though taking the solenoid apart.
Dave
