55 Shot on a 3.8 Engine?
Im posting this here because nitrous isn't discussed much and is pretty new on the grand prix forum.
Has anyone with a 3.8 Camaro/Firebird run nitrous?
How would a 55 shot hold on a stock with bolt ons car (its supercharged, but still you guys are alot more experienced with nitrous then then clubgp)
I have a 3" down pipe, 3.4 pulley, DHP 1.0, 2 steps colder plugs, intake and high flow cat.
What do you guys think of just putting a 55 shot on top of that?

im assuming your referring to running a dry shot because of your roots blower design.
results will be very positive. one of the best features of running a dry hit with your blower is the intake air cooling affect.
it will really liven up the motor.
start small. say 25-30 dry shot and keep an eye on injector duty cycles, fuel pressures, and afr. (wb recommended).
since u have the ability to tune via the dhp i think you'll be ok.
little manufactured atmosphere works well.
good luck,
peace
EDIT: if u want more info pm me and i'll send ya a couple of links/forums that are more 3.8 specific.

I have helped a few customers doing what you are looking into. Keep in mind with forced induction the hp gain will be ampplified. I personally would go with a wet system if it were me. Start off with a 35 shot and work your way up. On a stock motor I would not go over 50hp.
