I am using the LS7 lifters with my setup. They are the new factory replacement lifters.

8400rpms, ****, my motor would like to meet your motor as he thinks that 7400rpms is spinning, lol. Is the Caddy lifters different than the LS7 lifters? that's not the first time I have heard to use Caddy lifters, why?

LS7's are fine and cheap to boot(130.00)...If your planning 8000+ RPM Morels would be your best option

I'd run the LS7 lifters over the Comp OE's anyday...

I have not used the 7's the caddies were supposed to be the c5-r race team designed lifters. there pretty cheep so if guys can't aford morels we get them caddys. have not had an issue with them yet. but mine was at 8400 on a 400 shot so i know the morells work. atv znged his to 8000+ a few times also.

I have had both caddy and ls7... at 1st i had the ls7's i borke the roller on one of em'... so i just installed the caddys and the caddys are a different design.. the body is different. so far so good for the caddys, but ive only had em' done for a day or so.. my cam is a 647 lift hyd roller comp cam... the caddys are quiet no sewing machine noise here.

ill take a pic of the destroyed ls7 lifter and post it on here later on tonight...

fyi.. there is a reason why the ls7 is the stock replacement lifter... it sux... go caddy or morel...
