One owner adult ridden and maintained Black/Silver 2008 Honda CBR1000RR purchased new in October 2009 from Pete’s Cycle in Baltimore. This bike is completely unmolested and even has all the factory stickers still on the tank and frame. The only modification is a double-bubble windscreen and it has a Veypor VR2 track computer installed. I have the original windscreen. The Veypor computer is a cool addition to any motorcycle, look it up on the web. Currently has about 2750 miles and has had three oil changes - 600 miles after break-in, 1713 miles in spring 2010 and 2387 miles in spring 2011 when I switched to synthetic. The chain is always adjusted, cleaned and lubed properly. The bike is always garaged and polished after rides. Front and rear tires are in great shape and have several thousand more miles in them with no problem. There are two small scuffs on the right side fairing, other than that the bike is like new. Comes with a transferrable 48 month genuine Honda Care warranty good through October 2014. Warranty kicked in after 1 year factory warranty expired in October 2010. I consistently get between 39 and 40 MPG while commuting between Columbia and Baltimore. Most of the mileage was on the highway riding on I-95 and no I am not BSing you. The bike really has been babied. Selling because I don’t have the time to ride it anymore and just paid my kid's tuition for this year - ouch. If you are looking for a newer liter bike, you cannot go wrong with this one. I will throw in a size XL Joe Rocket Honda leather jacket that matches the bike perfectly and a motorcycle cover.
