Does anyone here do chump car racing ?

They are a good crowd, have a lot of fun, I used to play at PIR a lot. Road raced a RX3 for a couple years in ICSCC and SCCA ,,, and worked turns a lot. My favorite city park.
Chump cars cost more than you'd think to build from what I've seen. Lots of track time for the $$..

I have done 9 chumpcar events, 5 at Portland. It was always a great time, fast car or not. it does cost ALOT to do it right. But what Motorsport doesn't that apply to?

Ya I have been drag racing my dd car was wanting to to try some road racing and found chump cars but after looking up how much entry fees and and adding up how much gas u need it's not that cheap I don't mind spend money on the car but those entry fees

Chump is cheaper than some road racing. It used to be basically stock cars without anything more than a roll bar. But as always happens in competition the $$ start to rule.

Never build a chump car that cant run on basic pump gas...
