Senile? Sure looks like it. Well, it's kinda funny now but at the time, I was really looking
around to make sure no one was looking.
I'm at this car show a few weeks ago and I'm cleaning up the ride and kinda putting on a little wax in areas that needed it.
I'm really uncomfortable as the show I picked turned out to be a low rider
group and I think I might have been the only white guy there.
Well, maybe not, I think there were a few but damn few.
Don't get me wrong, everyone treated me really well. Also, I just felt a little
out of place, mostly because the majority of the group was three
times younger than me....
Anyway, some guys came up and started looking at the car so I dropped my rag and stuff in a box in the trunk and stepped back aways.
After they were gone, I cracked the trunk and reached under and pulled out my rag and bottle and started applying......
Nice haze appears and I let it dry a few minutes and then started to
"wax on / wax off".
The glaze just looks smeared and I rub harder......gets worse......I rub harder,
looks terrible.
I pick up the bottle and it's blue. It's the right color but this blue bottle has
sun tan lotion instead.

I look around to see if anyone has noticed. I was pretty loud.
Nobody seemed to care.
Out comes the Windex and thank God it cleans everything off.
On goes another coat of wax but this time it buffed out nice.
I wasn't gonna tell anyone but this is to good to not share.
It's funny now, but Jeez, was I hacked.
But,,,, I did it to myself.
Turns out I left early. Some of the black group that was there right next to me didn't like the Tex/Mex and turned on some really serious power with some really raunchy gansta rap and then the guy next to me put on some oldies and I started to get a headache.
Also, the wagon that was suppose to show up and do burgers and dogs didn't make it and there was hundreds of people with no chow.
Perhaps it's better that the season is almost over....
