Default gears + TC question.

Hey guys, I am getting 3.42 to replace my 3.15 and a 3400 stall and a cooler. I was told that I will need to reprogram the car (98 C5). what will i need to do that? can i do it myself? do i need to go somewhere that has a dyno? Is there anywhere local that does programming? how much does it normally cost for this? thanks a lot guys.

You will need to reset the speedometer settings fro the gears so your speedo is correct. And you will need to reset your shift parameters for the converter so the car shifts at teh right places & the converter locks up properly.
