Thoughts on eddy current dynos
From what I've found searching around, eddy current dynos are similar to Mustang dyno's, i.e. not as optimistic as a Dynojet.
What has been your experience?
I ran my car on one today and was just trying to compare my numbers, as I've always gone on Dynojets. I don't like switching dynos, but the price was good today during a group run.

No experience so far! But, I've heard the same thing...Should be close to a mustang dyno. That "should" can bite you in the *** though As far as dynojet being optimistic....just use a different conversion factor to get flywheel...Mustangs are great for tuning....and you can just as easily figure Flywheel hp with them too... Some day I'll have to take mine down to TJ's and see what the difference in my combo is...maybe 30 rwhp?

Well here's my graph I got today. I think I'll make my own line graph by hand and compare my last dyno run, but the way it shows now after the Ellis tune, it makes nearly 20 more hp between 4,500 - 5,000 rpm, along with the 15 hp peak gain.
What's your opinion on the A/F ratio?
