Battery core
I had to buy a new battery for the Trans Am. I went to change my oil today and found a bunch of green ice cream on the whole front of my car. Not good. So I finished and hosed off the car and ended up clear up in Marysville to get a battery.
Long story short I had to spend an extra 5 bucks on a battery because I did not have a core to swap. It will cost me more than $5 to go to Marysville. Is there anywhere that will pay more than 5 dollars for a battery core?

1) The battery was being used by the car.
2) I did not have tools with me to swap a battery.
3) It was 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon, and it took me 2 hours to modify my cable enough to get it on the battery post. And fabricating is not a good thing to have to be doing in a parking lot without the proper tools.
4) I live in Kirkland. I had to go clear to Marysville to get the battery. In Sunday evening traffic that is at least an hour commute.
5) Gas here is $3.35 per gallon. I will spend more than $5 in gas taking the battery back, and it is illegal to throw the battery in the trash.
6) I think you are posting in the wrong forum.

Marysville was the closest place to me that had an Optima red top that fit the car. Even there they only had 2, and the other one would not have fit.
