Here's the club plaque the old man was in, Cam Riders Car Club, back in his day. I don't have all the info yet. But, I do posse an original plaque.
Here is a nation wide data base of car club plaques from every city, check your locals out from back in the day.

I remember one similar to that, not sure if its the same but Hemi under Glass ran at New England Dragway and I saw him there in the 70's. My dad took me all the time when I was a kid to all the big events. Jungle Jim(RIP) and Mandango raced for the final one night I remember and Mandango won.

Here's a couple pics, and quote from LSxChevelle's old man's dragster, a NW ride.

Have 3 pics from Sept 1975 of my dads dragster. These are the only color photos and am curious to see if someone can clean them up a bit or where to take them. I want to get them framed with a plaque of some sort for his X-Mas gift.
Car had just a 327 2-bolt bored to 331 and ran a best of 9.77. Not too bad for a little nothing motor...

That was him testing the car in Sept '75 for the first Fall Nationals at S.I.R. which he ran a best of 9.07 at 142.63 on Sept 18th, 1975. It was a B/ED with a 327 2-bolt block bored .030 over to a 331. Then again it didn't weigh too much...
I will scan his large B&W pic from the nationals. Tires are just starting to twist...

Ahhh yes...the good old days at Puyallup when the track was considered to be out in the boon docks! I remember racing my first '70 Chevelle SS there and when the air shocks got low on air, I simply drove down Meridian for about 1/2 mile to a gas station and aired them up (with open headers of course!!!!).
