Default My paint is going hazy

My front clip is starting to get hazy on what looks like the clear coat. Its only the parts in front of the headlights and where the two openings are on the hood.

I waxed it a while back and it looked nice but i came out the next day and looked hazy in those areas. No amount of rewaxing has helped either.

The picture sucks but i think you can tell what im talking in that there is no reflection of anything below the headlight.

Is there any fix for this aside from repainting?

you cant take care of that any other way then repainting it. you may be able to use a professional buffing compound (3M) and that should help, but your clearcoat is very thin at the moment and is only going to get worse.

as he said, buffing it will prolly work, but its temporary, and the clear is thin now. I would say just use a polish with a foam buff pad, its less abrassive then a buffing compound, but once again, its only temporary

try using a buffer and some light compound, should do the trick.

Looks like clear coat failure to me... I don't think polishing would do any good and could possibly make it worse but if you have the money i would try a light to medium polish first if you have the money for a repaint. If not leave it alone until you do because i am pretty sure it will.
