sunoco cowl hood with 35th ann stripes?? Im looking at getting a sunoco cowl and was wondering how some 35th anniversary stripes would look. Would the line up right etc. Also wondering if anyone has any pics of this done????

I had 35th stripes on my car and got a sunoco hood. The 35th stripes do not line up at all with the sunoco hood. You can move them further out on the hood so they don't interfear with the cowl, but then they would be too far apart and look retarded. Here is what I'm talking about. The first picture is what the stripes look like on the car. The second picture is what the hood looks like on the car with the stripes still on the bumper. They just don't line up. You would have to have them custom painted onto your hood in which case they might look pretty good, but none of the decals on the market now would fit right!
