Need info on black painted exhaust area for a white TA
I bought the car I wanted since I was 16 a month ago (minus the M6). Now it's time to get it to look like how I've always wanted. I have seen so many white Trans Ams with the exhaust portion painted black but I've never had the chance to ask how they did it or had it done. So I'm asking for some help with this, what is the usual color used and if you have done this did you do it yourself? If done yourself do you mind sending me some simple steps?

Thanks all. I feel dumb for not knowing it was called CETA. I did it all yesterday after work (where I researched for about an hour max for the different ways others have done it). I used krylon primer and satin black, if needed I will clear coat it later but I wanted the duller plastic look for now. Here are some pics of the finished product, it was night so sorry about the contrast. Also a pic of my new wheels going on tomorrow.

looks good from the pics. Get Pontiac in Black on your bumper and then change your exhuast tips and it would be perfect. GL
