Im not the best with paint and body work but i do know a lil bit. I purchased a hood that seems to be a sunoco hood off ebay.. its a blem so the price was marked down a good amount. they say that there is no structural damage and the only thing wrong with it is the underside gelcoat.

my question is... doesnt the gelcoat get striped off during prep? or am i going to have to do alot of repairs to this hood to make it look good?
