Default VFN Sunoco

hi just got a sunoco hood and was wondering if i need to buy different hood struts. I see they sell them. I was just seeing if they are a needed thing and if you got yours somewhere else.

you dont need them but they are recommended. Back when VFN first came out with our hoods they were having cracking issues with the stock struts. But they have since reinforced the area. Though with the amount of money your spending, why not be safe and get their lightened hood struts, i did.

if you dont want a headache... then you need to get them. its like $40, and you have it done right. i tried mine with the stock struts, but it didnt want to work for me
