Default Sail Panel Question!

So I am totally repainting a project car I bought, I have it torn down to basically nothing, interior is completely out, motor is out, engine bay is basically bare. Its a 2000 Z28, questions is...should I go ahead and take the time to take off the sail panel and put a different one on? That way I know I wont have problems with the bubbling? It showed no signs of bubbling, but yet it has been stored inside all its life. Thoughts??

Apparently you can't buy them new any more (as posted in the last page or so of the big sticky thread), so you'd have to find a used one.

All 05/98 and later built F-bodies are at risk for this condition.

I had a bubble problem with mine. when i went to get it repainted the shop told me its the glue they switched to "soaks" into the fiberglass and causes the "bubles" to form. i had it repainted anyways and again less the 6 months after here it comes again. still waiting to see the right fix to avoid this problem. either way good luck.
