I pulled a 1994 sail panel today. It still has a thick layer of a rubber type substance in two lines. Should I completely remove those lines or just put the glue on them. The lines are also uneven in depth due to removal. If I don't have to remove these strips. How can I build the lower parts up. I will try to upload picture. It took 2 hours 45 minutes to remove it. The first---- 75 % came off in 30 minutes. I spent over an hour on the remainding last foot. Well worth it though. I did it alone.
