Yes it is bad. Say you go blue or purple ect....You open the door and then you see that stock white and its going to klash big time and going to regret it. Either A. Keep the same color to limit how much needs paint. Or B. you change the color/ do everything..

Also if you're going to paint it another color other than original. Don't paint it a color that came on these cars from the factory. It'll look like just another nice kept stock car.
Paint it something that will stand out since you're already paying all that money for the color change. Just my .02

could always try doing it yourself, even if you mess up at first its still cheaper. I'm going to attempt my first paint job this weekend. 95 T/A is gonna be Sublime green and black.

I've seen some pretty sweet looking white cars, it's not dull. It's all in how you present it.
I'd stick with the stock color simply because it's a lot easier to make the car look good if the color is consistent all the way through, and it will be less expensive to achieve that look. The trouble you have to go through to make a color change look anywhere near as good as stock is not really worth it.

One of the nicest looking cars that I have ever seen was a 69 Camaro painted a fine metallic silver with blue candy over that. It really popped in the sunlight. The curves on the 4th gens would really bring this color out.
