Not that bad, got 2 hvlp guns for $30 each, green was $135, black was $40, primer kit was $110 and came with 3 rolls of tape, guide coat, 4 bottles of prep spray and tack cloth. clear was $70 i think, and probly another $60 in sandpaper and misc stuff. green and primer came as a gallon, black was a quart. all came with activator. All together was less than a cheap one color repaint from anywhere else.

for my next trick, I'm gonna try and adapt the center console out of a 99 into my 95. Just because I'd like to have a cupholder that works lol

Did a write up on the filler panel here. https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...ler-panel.html For the tails I got a set of the base 93-97 plain red tails, taped off the design, painted, wet sanded, and cleared.

You did a nice job man. Car looks looks really good. I'm in the same boat as you, fairly experienced in the mechanical field, but none at all in paint/bodywork. I don't wanna hijack your thread but have some questions if you don't mind me shooting you a pm.
