Question Painting a car w/ fire damage??

we have a 62 Stude that was in a structure fire. The car itself was not burning, only the finish and plastic parts, bondo spots were subjected to heat. Surface rust is very apparent.
The car had fresh paint on it.

We are considering having it media blasted, treated w/ rust inhibitor, priming and repainting.
None of the panels appear to have warped, and most of the bolt-on parts were not attached, and in another bldg.

Yes/no? Comments welcome.

Default

It will have lots of warping regardless if you can see it or not. So it can be saved but lots of blocking in your future.
