I used dupli-color high hieat primer, color and clear. I also polished the caliper face before spraying. This makes it realy easy to clean. Mine were done almost two years ago and all i have to do is give them a quick wipe with the car wash sponge and they look brand new again.

Dupli Color also makes a clear finish in the hi-heat range as well which I'll be trying out this coming Tuesday

I'm going to be leave the calipers on the car and just mask the hell out of everything first. (yes I'm really that lazy...)

Camera phone was set to "solorize" so there's an odd fuzzy effect to the pictures =\

I think I'll try the brush on paint next time.. what a pita trying to pain in the wind and mask the whole wheel well on every corner

Clear coat does WONDERS!

When you take off the calipers completely off, what did you do with the brake line? Did you use a bolt to seal it off or what? Also doesn't the brake fluid cause the paint on the calipers to come off if it comes in contact with it? Let me know, I plan on painting everything tomorrow. I painted it once with it on the car, but I think I'll get a much better result if I take the calipers completely off.

I know that you should use a 3/8" bolt if you were to bolt off the line, but what size thread is the bolt on the calipers brake line, course, fine, etc?
