I tried this thread in the wheel section with no help. I just got some new wheels & they are clear coated. While I was up at school last week, my dad took them to have tires mounted and somehow on the way up there, something rubbed on the top of 2 of them so on the top little edge right where the tire meets the wheel, there are a few little chips of clear missing on these 2 wheels. What is my best plan of action, spray on some clear over this part? I was thinkin maybe i should sand down that little section on each wheel that rubbed and then spray bc maybe it would match better? Also, what would be a good clear to use, can i pick it up at an autoparts store? thanks!
