Thinking of not just taking care of some paint chips on my front bumper cover, but also filling the grille holes and filling in the letters for a smoother look with no grille.

Is there a special filler to use that is designed for use on plastic????

I also need to take care of some spider cracking on the paint on my rear bumper cover. Can I just sand down the area of the cracking and build it back up with primer then scuff the whole cover prime again, then paint???? Or, should I be stripping the whole cover down to plastic? Seems I've read of several ways to do it, curious.........

Sorry for the two questions in one, but I kinda felt they might be similar since both are bumper cover oriented.

For filling the letters on the urethane use 3M part 8237 semi-rigid repair. make sure everywhere you put it is scuffed up and it'll last forever.

Right on, thanks for the info. Would this I assume be the same thing to use on the grille holes too????

It'll work for the grill holes too. Just put a piece of tape on the hole from the backside to hold the junk in place until it hardens. Don't use the stuff unless it's at least 65 degrees out either.
