I hope this helps the do it yourselfers like me , so here go's .These first few pics are paint and prep. ToolsNeeded 1.Sharp putty knife 2.Pry bar 3. Phillips Head Screwdriver 4.Caulk Gun ok this part is the point of no return slide you putty knife under edge then start pulling , you may use pry bar now . pull , pry , and use putty knife to remove next remove exese caulk (but not completely) Now its time to apply new caulk make a bead about the size of your finger Next its time to install, reinstall t-top center hold down thingy, have t-tops ready for fitment , you'll need to raise hatch up and down as needed Heres the finished product. If your going to drive it , tape it !!! And last but not least, bag this up and ship it to GM I hope this helps some if not all you guys and gals with bubbles on you sailpanal

The last time one of my club members checked with a GM dealer about buying a sail panel it was quite expensive. I want to say $700. OUCH! What did you prep your panel with and what paint and clear did you use? You did a fantastic job. Thanks for posting it.

this was my car we did the replacement on. it scared the crap outta me watching us rip the stock top in pieces, but nauty99 had done this to his car before so i was fine with it. this is MUCH better and cheaper doing it yourself than having GM do it...theres a total of about an hour-2 hours at MOST once to take your stock one off and put the new one on, thats if everytihng is already painted and what not. after 8-9 hours of interstate driving its still in place and looks great...just gotta wetsand the pollen out of the clear coat.
