I have been using this truck as a parts runner for engines, parts, etc. I Put in my engine hoist, my 2 tool boxes, a 2 ton jack as well as 2 350 chevy long blocks and this engine/trans didn't miss a beat. Very strong drivetrain.
Been using it to drive thru the snow and ice down here and it's been a champ.
I Originally bought this truck for the excellent driveline and was intended to be installed to my 1974 Z28. However, I sold the Z28 and now no longer need this truck.
It's a 1984 Chevrolet Silverado C20 "Camper Special", 2 wheel drive, regular cab, long wheelbase pick up truck. It has a very good rebuilt 454 big block engine and a good THM 400 automatic transmission. It has a 14 bolt 10 1/2 inch rear end with 3.73 gears.
I was going to pull this motor/trans and have a great, reliable big block in a very much lighter Camaro. Just slide in a nice lumpy camshaft and headers and have a blast!
Considered keeping this great pick up truck and finding another project Camaro or Firebird...or maybe even a Chevelle. I have a 2000 V6 Camaro that might make a crazy fun car....but I need to pay some way overdue hospital bills.
I have pictures available on my cell phone currently.
I'd like to get $1950.00 obo.
I may be able to deliver this truck anywhere within Arkansas.
Will have to make arrangements anywhere else.
