This is a custom steel braided line to replace the stock steam vent pipe or hose. This hose was put together to allow the rear steam ports to be vented to the front of the block and then out an AN connection to the radiator.

I had the hose fabricated and decided to go a different direction. Hose requires you to tap an 1/8" NPT hole in steam vent ports at front and rear of heads. I will include the required tapered drill bit and the NPT tap to tap the heads. These two tools are $25 alone.

I would tap the heads while they are off of the block to keep from having shavings from tapered drill bit or tap from getting into water passages.

Great for race application where you want to prevent hot spots from block off the rear steam vents.
