-Machining was performed on a F69A Rottler CNC vertical 4 axis block mill for precise bluprinting.
-The mains are doweled and it has been drilled and tapped for 1/2" head studs.
**The main dowels are done exactly like the GMPP LSX iron bowtie block.
-Block was shot blasted and thermal cleaned before machine work began.
-The block has ARP Pro Series main studs and ARP Pro Series head studs.
** 1/2" ARP head studs are from Kurt Urban Performance.
**chamfered 1/2" head bolt holes are factory depth for use with std. or aftermarket heads
-Block has been bored and finished honed .030" over with the 1/2" ARP head studs and a BHJ torque plate installed. Sized for Diamond/Wiseco boost style pistons.
-Block has been de-burred and has no damaged threads anywhere.
-chamfered cylinders top and bottom
-the main journals were align honed with the ARP main studs installed and the main bore is perfect.
-Block decks have been BHJ fixture machined square to 9.232" on BOTH sides (this is a common iron block deck size, most aftermarket pistons are made for 9.230" deck heights).
-Block has been final washed, has had 1 piece HD babbit cam bearings installed, and has all the block plugs installed. Cleaned and bagged. It is ready to build!
Block will be shipped in a GMPP block crate in which a tall deck GMPP bowtie block was previously shipped in.
Serious only. This block is good for 1500 flwheel HP.
