I have a set of ported and polished lt1 heads. ive had these at 4 different machine shops and they have all told me they are equivalent to an le1 head. I had them cleaned, and crack checked, a 3 angle valve job and milled .030. I then added new valve seals, comp 987 springs, retainers, locks, and locators. I put 190,000 psi rocker arm studs, and for an additional 100 i will throw in the 1.6 stainless rockers too. they were on my car for about 700 miles when I blew the engine, I have gone a little more radical on the new setup and dont need these heads anymore. after i blew the engine I took these to my machine shop and had them cleaned up and checked out. These heads ran awesome on my car, It was stock block 6 speed formula with a custom cam and stock 3.42s. with that setup I beat a trans am, auto 3.73 car with 380 hp.
