Up for sale is a set of very low mileage (~900 miles), used 4.065" 2618 aluminum forged pistons with -4cc valve reliefs for the GM LS3 and L92 based engine. They are to be used with a 4.000" stroke crank and 6.125" length connecting rods. As they are 2618 forgings, they will require the block to have a very light hone performed to allow for proper fitment of the pistons once they've expanded from the heat. A minor cleanup of the cylinder walls are typical of performance rebuilds. With research, you will see that there are some people out there who use these pistons in an LQ9/LQ4 iron block as well. Sonic testing of the block to insure safety of the cylinder walls once bored to 4.065"+ would need to be done for safety. This is a great replacement piston for someone with the LS3/L92 on hand and is fully capable of handling serious power. 2618 forgings are recommended for high boost and nitrous applications as the pistons will expand under pressure and are less prone to detonating under extreme conditions.

As you can see in the detailed photo's, the moly coating on the skirts are still quite visible along with print on top of the piston heads to determine piston placement in relation to the block. This listing includes the pistons, pins, and locks. All of which are pictured above. This listing DOES NOT include the set of Akerly and Childs piston rings that you see in the background. I do however have them available in a separate listing and will include a 10% discount if both items are purchased at the same time by the same buyer.
