LQ4 Performance Rebuild Long Block
Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $5500
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird
Location (State): NY
Item Condition: Brand New
Engine: LS1/LS6, Small Block
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine
I recently had a performance build done for my 1999 Camaro project. Unfortunately, I am well over budget and with an engagement coming up and a potential change in careers with a huge paycut, i could use more liquid capital. This being said, i am putting feelers out on my LQ4 complete rebuild i picked up. I am not abandoning my build and I am not that motivated to sell however, if i can get back what i paid for it i would consider parting ways and come back to the project later. The specs are as follows:
6.0 engine
block bored 4.030
forged flat top dss pistons
scat pro series rods
file fit plasma moly rings
trick flow cam 238 242 .595 lift 112ls
mls head gaskets gm
arp head bolts
gm hp oil pump
cloyes roller timng chain set
trick flow push rods
Patriot 243 cnc ported heads with 2.05 and 1.60 stainless steal valves
double valve springs with titanium retainers
gm rocker arms
ls7 hyd roller lifters
The plastic wrapped photo is all i have for now. I do not want to unwrap and expose to any moisture since there is no oil pan or intake setup on the engine.
Engine has not been started this is a fresh build. Engine does not include Oil Pan, pickup tube, windage tray, or intake system. I did not get a warranty with the engine so i cannot extend one to the buyer. I can provide the builders information.
Shipping would be a bear so i am only willing to go local, i will meet within 100 miles of zip 10984.

Hey sorry I did reply to an email from a Kevin, was that you ?
Power adders were a consideration. That I why I opted for a seasoned iron lq4 as opposed to the stock aluminum ls1. Forged internals complemented the desire for boost in the future. I would cross check the components I listed against any specific boost applications you may be looking into. Sorry for the communication issue.
