Because of the LS potential that the FR-S has. When you network, network, network you will find someone looking for this engine/tranny combo at some point, no matter what. Who knows, it may open up to a trade for some project that can be LS swapped or even better, help out someone that really needs this setup, and so on and so forth. When you have the will, there is always a way. I commend this posting 101%!
