And that is not a typo at 235cc +-5cc (believe these are porter castings and that is the # Tony told me to use).

A little history here. So I bought these heads Jan. 2014 (off of a Corvette forum member) and in October we had finally got my motor together and dyno'd. You can see all the other info here from my original posting when I sold them: https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...rain-sold.html

Well I ended up sending them to Tony as the guy who had bought them wanted him to do more work. Well long story short, they needed more work in Tony's eyes and had a couple issues that freaked the previous buyer out.

So unknown to me the previous port work done (Tony believes it was TEA CNC program) they may have went through the intake runner slightly and had to have them welded and re-machined for the valve seals. Not a big deal as it happens and you couldn't tell from looking in the runner (and I just plain didn't pay attention around the valve spring to see the welded area). I can say they made pretty damn good power from my previous thread showing N/A and blower HP figures but they have been GREATLY improved. So since Tony had the heads already he said he would go through them and make all the wrong's right to have a solid product.

Now for the much improved look!

Tony has done an amazing job on these and I'll let the pics do the talking:

And the detailed list of what Tony has done:

* Sonic clean all the castings.....no carbon anywhere.
* Media blast the valves and polish the face (scotchbrite/WD40/drill press....LOL).
* Reface the valves and back cut.
* Port a significant amount of metal from the chambers to un-man-hole the valves (they are sunk in there).
* Blend all that into the current chamber configuration so it looks like it was designed that way.
* Blend the bowls and short turns.
* Sandroll all this work when I'm done so it looks really artfully finished.
* CC and Mill the chambers/deck to our target volume.
* Then I will reassemble and match all the spring height of the PAC springs that are on there.

The heads will look and work really well when I'm finished with them. I would confidently say versus bolting them on now an NA engine would gain 25 RWHP.....a boosted engine maybe close to twice that (places a higher demand on both ports.....especially the exhaust).

And the end result:

They went 325 ish and 250 ish with decent low and mid lift numbers.

The sonic cleaning got the ports so so clean (old casting..... had carbon deep in the pores of the aluminum) but functionally these heads are kick azz right now. Chambers and deck look amazing.....valves all beaded and refaced etc. Bowls are all blended perfectly etc.

Flow #'s

Lift......Int....Exh

.200....153....128

.300....218....184

.400....264....226

.500....304....242

.550....318....247

.600....325....251

That pretty much sums up my journey here with these but if there are any additional questions I can't answer then Tony is more than willing to discuss with a serious buyer.

Price for these is $1854 shipped (paypal is in that price)

These are currently still at Mamo Motorsports til the 22nd if need be and then he'll have to ship them back to me. So I figured I'd get an ad up before hand to possibly save shipping twice.

Thanks

Will these work with the 3.9" bore, or are the valves too big for that?

Had a guy ask about a 5.3 so I had to ask Tony and he said they will work on 3.900 (it would be the minimum bore).

Will also consider a partial trade + cash for a set of Weld RTS rims. They will need to be:

Polished finish
17x10
7.5" BS
5 x 4.75

Default Bad timing

Man if I didn't just have a valve spring break and suck a valve. I would be all over these tony and I just exchanged emails about me buying a new set from him for 3000 k. I haven't pulled they heads yet but I'm pretty sure I need a new short block. This is a screaming deal good luck on the sale. I need a forged 403 ls2 if anyone's got one. Pm me

I had a set of the tea ported afrs a few years back. The intake port volume should be 238cc. The port was a stage 3 and was supposedly designed with Kurt Urban and W2W. Koolrayz also ran these heads before going to all pros. These are bad *** heads and there are old threads out there where more info can be obtained.

The spring pockets have that weld build up because they were cut for big springs and is only there for strength, not because of port breakthrough. Just trying to shed some light on the history of these for you since they are not your typical head.

Not too far from ya, about 50 min. northeast.

No problem looking them over but remember they are not in my possession right now.
