Up for sale is my lsx block(gen 2) bored 4.155 ready to build 434ci engine , machine work done by Abbott racing heads in Crane Texas. this block has a sleeve in cylinder #6 . yes I know this is going to cause some concern about the rest of the machine work . All I can tell you is that Abbott racing builds all my engines and have never had any problems with their work. there was a mistake made on the boring bar on this one cylinder so they sleeved this one and bought their customer a brand new block. I had the machine guy give me some info on the sleeve for anyone interested. this block has over a 1,000 worth of machine work done to it that does not include the sleeve work . yes I know the sleeve does not make the block quite as desirable but it will still have no problem holding high horsepower.

"sleeve has a full hole behind it and there is not water behind the sleeve. we used the white sunnen sealant on the back side of the sleeve . sleeve is ductile cast iron and is stepped at bottom so it can not slide . .001-.002 " press "

Good price and GLWS but my question is what size did they bore out cylinder 6 in order to sleeve it? Is it to the point where you could not do a max effort N/A build if you wanted and bore all of the cylinders to say 4.250 bore.

Sorry read that wrong, I’m not sure what they bored it to to install the sleeve
