I'm not going to sit and argue like little girls on this topic. You clearly haven't done any extensive research on purchasing an OEM SS hood. I have seen over 10+ OEM hoods listed in the past year that were under $500. Including 3 I inquired about and almost pulled the trigger on but I didn't have time to travel and pick them up. I also saw many OEM hoods that were priced $1,000 and up. Including a brand new unpainted SS hood for almost $2,000! Do they sell? Maybe, if they find a sucker.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never said you can find them all day for $400 to $600 shipped. I said you can scoop them up all day for $400-$600. Most people won't even ship hoods. The guy above wanted $800 + shipping so I don't know how you thought I meant $400-600 shipped.

lol you guys eating up my thread i wasnt trying to start an argument lol i would like to buy a decent used oem hood i dont care of paint condition. but $800 plus shipping is way too much for me if i have to pay over 600 for a used one shipped i would just buy the aftermarket ones for $500 shipped. the oem isnt that big of a deal to me anyways. but if anyone is willing to sell theyre slp hood at a good price let me know thanks
btw im in Bowling green , Ky 42103 and wouldnt mind to drive a reasonable distance either

Unlike many others claim, I do have an NOS SS hood still in the original box. GM part # 12369963. If I choose to sell it I will ship it with the appropriate insurance cost applied to the price.

Perhaps you're mistaken Sir. I'am not a little girl and don't wish to argue this topic as you said. I have 'clearly' done 'extensive research ' on purchasing an OEM SS hoof. I know my way around a hood.
