WTT LS2 shortblock for LS3/L92 shortblock PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST BEFORE SENDING PMs OR REPLYING.
Anyone interested in swapping a LS3/L92 short block for a LS2 (+ cash if need be)? Here are the details of the LS2:
Fully disassembled at the moment.
Machine shop checked out the block, crank, rods, and pistons.
new clevite hardened main bearings
new durabond cam bearings
front cover
rear cover
valley cover
lifter buckets
tsp ls6 ported oil
caps and bolts
brand new timing set from Yank
no oil pan (this was going into a 240sx, so anything I would have would probably be useless to you)
PLEASE NO OUTRAGEOUS BUILT ENGINES!
I'm just looking for something to compliment my LS3 heads/intake a bit better. As mentioned above, this is going into a ~2600lb 240sx, so I don't want any built strokers, etc, as traction will be difficult enough (road racing / autox / street setup). I doubt I'm going to get any bites, but it's worth a shot. I can upload pics tomorrow when I get home.
