I am in need of a tailshaft housing from an LT1 T56 transmission, i need one asap so let me know

They should be the same for LS1 or LT1, so that should open up your choices a little more. whats wrong with yours?

threw a driveshaft and messed up the bearing inside, a new one from t56 rebuilds is $200, just trying to find a used one a little cheaper

Yeah, same here, I cracked off a little piece that really doesnt affect it. Everyone that I have shown it to says it is fine. I'd still like to replace it for peace of mind. I have been looking and looking for a tailhousing as well, but can't find anything inexpensive. I remember seeing them on ebay for $50 before I needed one. Now that I do, I cant seem to find one. Good luck finding one, if you find a cheap one, post back on here, and I'll do likewise.
