This might be a long-shot, but here goes... (swap or buy offer) Hey all,
While doing some research for my L92 drivetrain swap, I found that I will very likely need to retain the stock front cover & serpentine setup that came with the engine if I want to retain the VVT function (and I definitely do). What this means is that I'll need to locate the serpentine tensioner, all of the brackets, etc. etc. for an '07 or '08 Yukon/Tahoe/Denali/Escalade with the 6.2L engine. I might take an alternator as well, but that's not strictly necessary...
If someone can find that setup for me, I would be MORE than happy to either trade them for the corresponding set of F-body accessories that I have, or to buy them for a fair price, or to work some kind of a deal that makes us both happy. (Yes, I've checked local junkyards, but they either don't have what I'm looking for, or just never get back with me...)
I know that quite a few people can use the F-body accessories for swaps, etc., so I'm HOPING that this might be able to benefit each of us. It's probably best to send me a PM, since there's a half-decent chance that I'll forget that I've posted this, & only check back on it after a week or so...

Well, today I swallowed hard, & bought the stuff new. (Thankfully, it wasn't as expensive as I'd feared...) Guess this engine is just too new to be looking for stuff like this.
