Default Idle won't go up????

Here's my new problem. My car is runnig ok with my new cam but i know it can be running better. My tunner has sent me a tune with idle set at 800 all around. When I uploaded it and started my car, idle in park sits at 600-675 and 700-775 in gear. Idle in gear isnt a problem its the idle in park. So i told him what happend and he sent me another one with idle at 900 in park(neutral) and 800 in gear. Tried running that but my car still sits at 600-675 in park and 700-775 in gear. Is there something wrong with my car or does it just like having its idle set there?
any ideas?

Are you going by the stock gauge or something else.

The stock RPM gauge is not accurate AT ALL.

I jacked in my predator and read the same. But its actually getting better. Sometimes it idles good and sometimes not. I guess i just have to live with it now. But for the most part its better.

This is so true. Odd thing is, my tach gets more accurate as the car warms up. I know, it sounds crazy, but it is the case. I have my idle set at 800rpm in P/N and Gear, and a-tap will show the idle at 775-825 when the car is warm or cold, yet when cold the tach will show about 600-650rpm, and after warming up it'll show about 750-800 where it should. Very odd indeed...
